Technology & Security Advisory
A technical question stated precisely enough that a specialist can answer it — and the right specialist engaged to do so.
“We need to understand the technology, security or deployment requirements before committing.”
Who this is for
- Companies evaluating a technology decision with commercial consequences
- Teams asked by a customer or investor for assurance they cannot yet produce
- Organisations looking at post-quantum or long-horizon security requirements
What you receive
- A written technical brief
- The engaged specialist’s findings
- A pilot plan where the engagement extends that far
What the work covers
- The technical question defined and written down
- Scope of the expert review agreed, including what is deliberately out of scope
- Identification and engagement of confirmed independent specialists
- Coordination of the review and translation of the findings into commercial terms
FLOWCAP does not operate a laboratory, a security operations centre or a certification body, does not develop cryptography and does not perform penetration testing. Architecture review, security audit, cryptographic work, integration and testing are carried out by confirmed independent specialists under a separately agreed scope and fee.
How it runs
- 1Intake conversation to establish what is actually being asked
- 2Brief drafted and agreed with you
- 3Specialist identified; fees and timeline confirmed before work starts
- 4Review carried out and findings walked through with you
What we need to start
- The decision the technical answer is meant to support
- Existing documentation, architecture notes or prior assessments
- Any requirement imposed on you by a customer, regulator or investor
- The deadline you are working to
Quoted individually
This work is scoped and priced per engagement, because the cost depends on what the question turns out to be. You see the figure before anything is commissioned.
Discuss a Technical QuestionQuestions
Do you do the technical work yourselves?
No. We define the question, scope the review and coordinate the specialists who do it. Pretending otherwise would be the fastest way to lose a client.
What does this cost?
It is quoted individually, because the specialist’s fee depends on the scope. You see that fee before the work is commissioned.
Let’s discuss the next step for your project.
Tell us what you are working on and where it is stuck. If we are not the right people for it, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
